Submit an assignment

Click on the "class site" where you want to submit your assignment and then click "Assignments" from the menu screen.

Select the assignment you want to submit

A list of all assignments on the "Class Site" will be displayed.

For each assignment, the following information is displayed:

  • Assignment title
  • Status (Not started, Draft - in progress, Submitted date and time, Returned, etc.)
  • Published date
  • Deadline

Click on the "Assignment Title" in the assignment list and select the assignment you want to submit.

Submit an assignment

When you are ready to submit your assignment, click "Submit" to complete your assignment submission.
If you're not ready to submit yet, you can press 'Edit' to return to the previous page and then click 'Preview' to preview your submission or 'Save Draft' to save your submission and submit it later.

Notes on submitting assignments

On the assignment submission screen,

Please note that clicking the "PROCEED" button or the "Save Draft" button will not count as submission. If you are resubmitting or submitting multiple times, clicking the "PROCEED" button or the "Save Draft" button will return the submission to an unsubmitted state, so please click the "Submit" button again and make sure that the submission ID is displayed.

Reviewing submissions

Once you have submitted your assignment, you will see a confirmation message on your screen.

1. A submission ID has been issued.
2. On the assignment list screen, it should say "Submitted YYYY/MM/DD/ HH:MM."

The issuance of an ID is proof that you have submitted the assignment.    
In addition, a confirmation email containing your submission ID will be sent to your university-wide email address, so please be sure to save it.

Reviewing returned submissions

Once the assignment is returned, the assignment details and grades will be displayed.
Grades can be given in the form of points, pass/fail, check marks, or comments.
If you are asked to resubmit, please follow the same procedure to resubmit.
